Horn of Africa (Families Together) Program Evaluation

The Families Together (FT) Program was started to address the pressing need for enhanced early health and education services for East African refugee and immigrant families living in San Diego. The FT Program is operated by the Horn of Africa, a non-profit, community-based organization in San Diego that provides comprehensive services to Somali and other East African refugee and immigrant families in San Diego. Healthy Families America, FT’s sponsoring organization, helped FT identify specific needs through their strategic planning process completed in 2005. Through mutual connections with Healthy Families America, LeCroy & Milligan was contracted to provide evaluation services to the Horn of Africa on their Families Together program.
