Data Management Specialist
Tasks and Responsibilities of this Position:
- Complete accurate data entry in all databases.
- Process incoming paperwork, including recording and preparing files for
new clients, separating and coding data for data entry, maintaining up to
date cohort lists, and resolving data problems, such as missing paperwork,
mis-coded data, etc.
- Provide technical assistance to program sites to ensure data quality compliance.
- Report regularly to supervisor, computer systems manager and project lead
about progress and problems related to data entry and databases.
- Track, sort and check data for data cleaning runs.
- Other data entry and office tasks as assigned, including answering phones,
photocopying, word processing, etc.
- Participate as a team member to maintain positive co-worker relationships.
Bring any concerns to the attention of your supervisor in a timely manner.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work as a team member and manage multiple priorities with tight
deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Effectively communicate with clients and co-workers.
Ability to prioritize projects, tasks and duties.
Ability to track details with meticulous accuracy.
Proficiency with database programs, spreadsheets or ability/willingness to
learn.
Able to manage large quantities of data accurately.
Flexible, able to work well under pressure.
Able to work autonomously.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Type minimum of 65 WPM; 10-key by touch experience
Proficiency in Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite
