Steven Wind, PhD
Steven Wind, Ph.D., has been a Senior Evaluation Associate with LeCroy & Milligan Associates since 2008. He adds to our multidisciplinary team with an academic background in medical anthropology that included work on innovative public health projects related to tobacco cessation and childhood asthma throughout the world.

Dr. Wind has worked in a variety of qualitative research settings over the last 10 years at LeCroy & Milligan Associates, and brings strong expertise in qualitative research methods. Steven has worked on a wide variety of projects including program evaluations, needs assessments, and strategic planning sessions. These projects were in a range of areas including substance abuse prevention, early childhood, education, homelessness, and criminal justice. Steven brings his expertise in survey development, facilitating focus groups, and conducting key informant interviews to many of his projects. Some of his projects have included the evaluation of a Native American dropout prevention program, an evaluation of project to increase participation by the elderly and Hispanics in the Supplementary Nutrition Assistance Program, evaluation and strategic planning support for the Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness, several needs and assets assessment for regional early childhood councils, and leading the Systems of Care Practice Reviews project for state behavioral health agencies.
​Steven’s varied work interests are mirrored in his eclectic interests out of work. He is an avid hiker and songwriter and participates as a volunteer in activities such as the annual street count of people experiencing homelessness and fund drives for Tucson’s community radio station.
