Natalie Long, MSW 

Ms. Long is an Evaluation Associate with LeCroy & Milligan Associates, Inc. She is a team member on various evaluation, research, and technical assistance projects with nonprofits, state, and government agencies. These projects involve a variety of topics including suicide prevention, behavioral health in schools, home visitation, substance abuse services, and youth development.  

 

Ms. Long has 17 years of experience providing training, and program implementation in a variety of service settings, and 9 years of experience in providing behavioral health and substance abuse services.  Ms. Long has knowledge and experience of non-profits as a direct service provider and in supervisory positions. Ms. Long has experience providing services and trainings in areas such as clinical documentation, clinical assessments, treatment planning, behavioral health diagnostics, substance abuse prevention/assessment/treatment, self-care, identifying and managing countertransference, motivational interviewing, LGBTQIA+ topics, crisis intervention and de-escalation, recognizing suicide warning signs, family education, mandated reporting, and others. Ms. Long has also facilitated treatment counseling and skills building groups in topics such as relapse prevention, anxiety and depression, healthy relationships, healthy coping skills, DBT group, art therapy group, parenting, and substance abuse intensive outpatient programming. Ms. Long brings a combination of experience in direct practice as well as evaluation knowledge to our projects.
