Veronica Salaiz

Veronica Salaiz is a Research Assistant at LeCroy & Milligan Associates. She has over 19 years of experience managing participant data in multiple complex databases, ensuring data integrity, maintaining complete and accurate records of data collection activities and ensuring data quality compliance. In addition, she has nearly 2 years of clinical research in oncology which included providing protocol and research subject information to health care investigators involved with the trial in order to ensure comprehensive patient care and protocol compliance. She has experience in coordinating detailed quality assurance plan, database development, data cleaning, data security and data analysis.   She has contributed to local, state, and federal projects requiring complex data management and research activities. 


Ms. Salaiz is bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish and conducts many interviews in both languages.  Ms. Salaiz has completed extensive training in parent, family, and child observational and direct assessment.  She has conducted structured and semi-structured interviews, as well as observational assessments with home visitation parents and their children as an integral team member on the federal longitudinal Healthy Families evaluation.  With her experience in coordinating data collection processes, Ms. Salaiz provided oversight of a team of CLASS and ECERS-3 assessors who conducted assessments in classrooms at child care centers around Arizona. Another area of Ms. Salaiz’s expertise is motivational interviewing with vulnerable and at-risk populations.  She is currently contributing her many skills as a team member on a six-year multi-site randomized control trial funded by Parents as Teachers to study the impact and outcomes of the Parents as Teachers home visitation program. 


When not at work, Veronica enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, photography, watching a good movie and most recently golfing.
