Kristin Nisbet, PhD
Kristin Nisbet (Morrill) is an Evaluation Associate at LeCroy & Milligan Associates. Kristin received her PhD from the University of Arizona Department of Nutritional Sciences in 2020 before expanding her training in cancer epidemiology and health services/implementation science research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the University of Arizona Cancer Center’s Cancer Prevention and Control Program funded by the National Cancer Institute. Kristin brings to the Evaluation Associate position 7 years of experience conducting health disparities and health services research with a focus on Hispanic adults, nutrition, and cancer.

As a part of her graduate research training, Dr. Nisbet served as the lead study coordinator for both a randomized controlled trial and large cross-sectional study focused on diet, cardiometabolic health, and cancer prevention in Hispanic adults, providing her with a strong foundation in research design, coordination, and analysis. Throughout her research, she has applied both qualitative and quantitative methods and has experience working with dietary intake, survey, cancer registry/surveillance, and Medicare claims data. Over the years, Kristin has led and worked on a diverse range of health-related research projects. Additionally, she brings her experience in the nonprofit sector having supported both a Chicago-based, veteran-serving nonprofit and Arizona-based rural health education center as a volunteer grant writer.

Aside from work, Kristin greatly enjoys cooking, singing, and beating her husband, Chris, at a game of washers. She also enjoys roller skating on the Rillito River bike path and spending time with her three kitty cats: Weebs, Melly, and Kombucha (Booch).
